How would my practice benefit from the CenteringPregnancy model?

Michigan faces maternal and infant health challenges, with some of the nation’s worst outcomes concentrated in cities serving large Black populations. Our proven model is designed to change that. By expanding into more facilities, we aim to improve access to quality prenatal care and drive better health outcomes for parents and babies across the state.
How many patients are served in each group?
Typically it ranges from 8-10
Why adopt the group care model?
It allows patients to relax, spend more time with their provider, and get to know each other on a deeper level. This model encourages patients to form lasting friendships which translates into an important community that stands with them throughout parenthood.
What topics does the program cover?
Everything from nutrition, common discomforts, stress management, labor and delivery, breastfeeding and infant care.
How many sites are currently in Michigan?
There are 35 sites in operation today.
Do we receive help implementing this model into our practice?
Yes! A Centering Advisor will be with you every step of the way.
How long will it take until we can host our first group?
This normally takes place around six months in.
